Our Winter League Series is up and running and in pole position is Leonard Flynn who takes a one-point lead over the field on (110pts). In the slip-stream and in joint second position are both Alan Kirwan and Ray Murray on (109pts). Francis o Donaghue is positioned nicely on his own in third position with (108pts). While in good company, Colin Fitzmaurice and Eamonn o Brien sit just off the pace in joint fifth place with (104pts).
70 golfers have entered this year’s Winter League Series and there is still plenty of time for competitors to post some good scores. The weather conditions of late have been favourable thus ensuring high-quality Stableford winning scores. Weather permitting, the league series runs for a further ten weekends. Remembering the best 8-weekend Stableford scores will count towards a player’s final total score.
