The following are the details and rules for the Winter League which will commence on the 29th of October

Winter League Rules 2016

League commences on weekend 29/30th October

Entries will be taken in the Golf Shop from Saturday 15th October

Reduced entry fee of €5 per player (Must be paid before  playing in Round 1)
5 Players per team
Each team must have at least one player from each category.

(Cat 1 – 0-10, Cat 2 – 11-18, Cat 3 – 19-28)
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams
13 Hole Competition off Green Tees
13/18 of handicap applies
3 scores from each team to count each weekend
Best 4 weekend scores out of 6 to count

Players can play both Saturday & Sunday with the better score to count for the winter league. In the case of either Saturday or Sunday being cancelled due to weather conditions, the winter league will be cancelled for that weekend. There will also be a 13 hole singles competition on both Saturday and Sunday for the duration of the winter league (entry €5).

Internal handicap cuts will be made for prizewinners on each day. These cuts will apply to scores in both winter league and weekend competitions. Please see below details of cuts:

Competition winner Cat 1 (0-10) -1. Category Winner -0.5

Competition winner Cat 2 (11-18) -2. Category Winner-1
