Dear Member,

The Captain and Men’s Club Committee are pleased to announce the attachment of Stephen Rayfus to Knightsbrook Golf Club. Stephen joined us this year after many years as Club Professional at Balcarrick Golf Club and has been a great help to us in setting up and coaching the Junior Section.  We hope that this attachment will prove to be mutually beneficial as the PLC have kindly provided Stephen with the use of the course for any lessons that our members may want to take with him. Also, Stephen will represent Knightsbrook at any tournaments that he plays in, starting this week with the Irish PGA Championship in Moyvalley Golf Club. We wish Stephen the best of luck this week and in the future.

Entry is now open for our senior matchplay competition. Members wishing to take part in this competition must have been over 50 years of age on the 1st of January 2017. Entry fee is €5 and can be paid in the shop. The draw will take place on Sunday week July 2nd, so anyone interested in playing will have to have paid their entry fee by then.

Finally, we would like to commiserate with our Jimmy Bruen team who failed to progress in their regional qualifier in Esker Hills on Saturday last. Hard luck to all involved with the team.
