The following competitions for Knightsbrook Seniors are being introduced for 2014.

1.     Senior Golfer of the Year Sponsored by Dempsey Insurances, Trim

•  All senior members will be eligible to take part in this Competition (50+)

2.      Seniors’ Matchplay Competition

•  This competition will take place between April and August.
•  All senior members over 50 are eligible.
•  Entry fee €5.
•  Finalist and semi-finalists will receive points towards Senior Golfer of the Year

3.     Weekly Seniors’ 9 hole re-entry competition Monday to Thursday.

•     Singles stableford
•     Entry €3, re-entry €1
•    Member can play with any GUI member.
  

•   Five weeks   (see below) will be qualifying competitions for Senior Golfer of the Year and marked SQ in club diary.
• Weekly prizes based on level of participation.

    4.     Knightsbrook Monthly Open Senior             

• Senior club members participating in  the monthly open competitions organised by the Director of Golf will be eligible to win a Men’s Club sponsored prize.
• Member who has the best score on the day will receive prize.
•   Number of prizes will be based on the number of club members who participates. (10 members 1 prize, more than 10,  2 prizes) Club prizes will be separate from open prizes given by The Director of Golf.

 Seniors’ Qualifying Competitions

  There will be 10 qualifying competitions for the Senior Golfer of the Year award. These are;

•  President’s Prize, Captain’s Prize, Vice 

        Captain’s Prize and Lady Captain’s Prize.

• Seniors’ Match Play. (Finalists and Semi Finalists will receive points towards Senior Golfer of the Year award)

• First full week of April, May, June, July and August 9 hole seniors’ re-entry competition will be qualifying competitions for Senior Golfer of the Year and are marked (SQ) in the club diary.
