The PING Junior Solheim Cup taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday next week at Knightsbrook GC, Trim. Featuring the Cavan twins Leona and Lisa Maguire the European Team under their non-playing Captain, former US and British Women’s Open champion Lotta Neumann, is bidding to regain the PING Junior Solheim Cup trophy it lost 8 ½ – 5 ½ at Aurora Golf Club, Illinois, USA, two years ago. The lead sponsor PING is providing free entry to this event for all spectators. The members of Knightsbrook Golf Club welcome all the team members, their families and the organisers to this unique event. We hope members and their families can come to Knightsbrook to support the teams and to witness superb golf.

Of course the Solheim Cup takes place in Killeen from Thursday with the Junior Challenge. The excitement is really building in anticipation of the teams arriving on Monday and first official practice on Tuesday. The course is looking great and the grandstands and tented village all set to welcome you when you arrive next week. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance gates Accompanied children under 18 years of age have free entry into the tournament Hamleys kids zone for the younger children set in the walled gardens Practice days entry from €15 Opening ceremony at 5pm on Thursday – President Mary McAleese Match days – Friday €40, Saturday €50 and Sunday €50 Car parking €10 per day or €25 for the week – payable onsite.
