Dear all,

As you are all aware the President’s Prize takes place this Saturday 20th May. The format for this year competition will be Singles Stableford off the White Tees. The timesheet is filling up nicely but there is still availability if anyone still wishes to play. The draw will take place Thursday evening. I want to wish everyone the best of luck with their game come Saturday.

As with previous years prizes, this year’s will be no different with the winners of both Men’s and Ladies competition will have their annual sub paid for, for the following year (excluding club levy). As a bonus, all category and gross winners will receive a voucher for a night stay at Knightsbrook Hotel.

The running order for the day will be as follows;
Tea/coffee will be served in the lobby of the golf club from 7 am.
Breakfast will be served to the early golfers who complete their round and wish to eat upstairs.
Choice of beef stroganoff or chicken curry with the usual trimmings for the afternoon diners.
Golf and food €25
Golf only €10

As there is a function in the golf club that night there will be no prize giving, this will be organised for a different date.

Also please note that the timesheet is open between 3 pm and 4 pm. This is to facilitate members who are involved in either of the 2 Interclub teams (Pierse Purcell and Barton Shield) who are playing on Saturday morning and who wish to play in the Presidents Prize. Best wishes to all members involved in teams this Saturday morning.
