The club held its first Junior Golf Introduction day Saturday 22nd of April, with the remainder planned for each Saturday in May.
We had a large turn out of Junior golfers, 50 in total, all with varying skill levels, which makes this programme very exciting. The day was very well coordinated by Stephen Rayfus, and assisted by Junior Committee members Richard Wheeler, Angela Reilly, Elva Leavy and Joe McGrane. Such is on the demand of the Junior Committee that we have inducted both Alan Malone and Mark Hyland whose help is greatly appreciated.
Under the guidance of Stephen Rayfus, the committee has a number of ideas to maintain the fun element and keep things interesting and entertaining for the Juniors for the remainder of the programme.
Upon successful completion of the Induction programme, the Junior Committee hopes to form a Junior section in Knightsbrook Golf Club.
