Dear Members,
Knightsbrook Golf Club is going about upgrades to enhance a quality golfing experience for its members. The golf course has had ongoing renovations and improvements in recent times.
This year for example, four new concrete bridges on the 6th, 15th, 17th & 18th holes have been completely refurbished. The course has undergone additional drainage works throughout and a new caddy cart sit down area on the 11th tee box has been constructed. All of the course signposts and fairway markings have been newly painted. Each tee box has had new litter bins and new broken tee/cigarette butt tin box’s in place.
More recently the club has introduced a new colour coordinated flag position system, (Red, White & Blue) for Front, Middle & Back pin positions for each green.
As members of the club we should all do our very best to match the commitment by our new owners, to continue to improve the golf course, by ensuring that we replace divots, repair pitch-marks on the greens and keeping our course litter free.
Thank you to Course Superintendant, Ronan Carey and his green keeping staff for the ongoing maintenance programme on the golf course.
