Peter Igoe, Denise Cusack, Patrick Curran, Kate Jones, Ronan Carey, President Sean Ó Díomasaigh, Captain Ger Reilly and Lady Captain Anne Geraghty all attended an informal, socially distanced farewell presentation to Dominic Murray on his last day at Knightsbrook Golf Club after almost 16 years loyal service.
The Captain, Ger Reilly made a presentation to Dominic on behalf of the members of Knightsbrook Golf Club to mark his leaving as golf operations manager over several years and for his service to the golf club since its inception in 2006. The captain paid tribute to Dominic for his immense contribution to the club over 16 years and thanked him for his courtesy and hard work. Dominic was flexible and very accommodating at all times and was a great ambassador for Knightsbrook. He wished him well in his new position.
Ronan Carey also made a presentation to Dominic and thanked him for his work on and off the course. He said he was a great colleague and would be missed by his colleagues.
Paying tribute to Dominic, Patrick Curran thanked him on his own behalf and that of the Owners for his enormous contribution to the Knightsbrook project over many years. Peter Igoe joined in the tributes to Dominic and wished him well saying he would always be welcome at Knightsbrook. Patrick Curran concluded the event by wishing Dominic “tight sails” a sailing reference wishing him good luck in the future.
