There was a great turnout of family, friends, and members to see Captains Will Murray and Jane Molony tee off the 2025 golfing year at their Captains’ Drive-In on Sunday, March 23rd. They made a grand entrance in a beautiful Regent vintage car, chauffeured by Dominic Martin. Before teeing-off, both captains planted a tree to mark the occasion and were toasted and presented with mementos of their big day. Both captains acquitted themselves well, Captain Will’s drive straying a little off course to the right while Jane struck her tee shot straight down the middle!. A nine-hole scramble competition was followed by a lovely lunch and social evening. Spring League prizes were presented and Drive-In competition winners received their prizes also.
