Knightsbrook Golf Club Annual Christmas Presentation night was tinged with great sadness as Vice Captain Will Murray remembered members who have passed away over the last 12 months. He said “2024 was a particularly sad year for the club, losing our 2024 Captain, Leonard Flynn , two former captains Dessie Keegan Liam McMenamin, who also served as President and long-time member Jimmy Black”.  Will also remembered relatives of current members who passed away during the year. Brid Flynn, wife of Leonard and members of the Flynn family were guests of honour at the Club’s Christmas Lunch and Presentation night. Brid presented a cheque for E7615 to Meath Hospice Homecare, proceeds of Leonard’s charity classic organised only weeks before he passed away. She also presented Leonard’s Captain”s Prize 2024 to Frank Leonard. The members presented Brid with a photographic memorial book recording Leonard’s time as an officer and Captain of  Knightsbrook Golf Club.
