Time sheet for Day 1 (qualifier) of the Captain’s prize will close at 6pm Thursday 18th August. The draw will be posted on the BRS on Friday 19th. No late entries will be accepted. The top 60 and ties will qualify for Captain’s prize Day 2 on Saturday 27th.
There will be a separate competition on the second day (Saturday 27th) for the non-qualifiers.
Captain’ Prize Details
The final of the Captain’s Prize 2016 will take place on Saturday 27th August. This year, there is a great value price for members and guests.
Details
- €15 Golf day 1 and 2 with burger at ninth hole
- €25 Captains’ Dinner and entertainment. (members and guests)
- €30 for two rounds of golf (1st and 2nd day of Captain’s Prize), burgers at the ninth hole, on course refreshments and the Captains’ Dinner Dance and prize giving and entertainment.
- There will be a drinks special on Captains’ night. All pints, long neck bottles and wine will cost €4.

Competition Details
The format for the Captain’s Prize will be strokes off the white tees. Qualifiers will go out in reverse order on the second day with the leading qualifiers going out
The winners of the various Monthly Medals will be presented with their prizes at the Captains’ Dinner
The committee would appreciate if members would pay for their Captains’ Dinner guests this weekend to facilitate the committee in calculating numbers for the big night.

- All members should arrive in good time for their tee-time.
- Please avoid slow play. Call the group behind through if searching for a ball to avoid creating any unnecessary delays
