Saturday 3rd September is Captain’s Prize Day at Knightsbrook Golf Club. This is the highlight of the golfing year at the club and we wish our Captain Jonathan Cusack a very successful day. The timesheet is very full with over 120 registered to play, a fitting tribute to our Captain. The timesheet closes at 6p.m Tuesday 30th August and the draw will take place at 7 p.m. in the clubhouse. All members are welcome to attend the draw. The cost to play in the Captain’s Prize remains at €10 and the dinner including wine and refreshments at the 9th hole is €25. The club will as usual be subsidising the food, refreshments and entertainment as part of its commitment to giving value for money to members and giving something back on special occasions. Visitors are also welcome to the dinner and entertainment at €25 per person. The competition will be off the white tees and will be stroke play. Members are reminded to familiarise themselves with local rules and be aware of their eligibility regarding the winning of major competitions contained in the recently published competition rules.
