After a great performance against a strong Dundalk GC outfit, our North Leinster Mixed team have qualified for the final of the competition. Two good victories at home in Knightsbrook by Men’s Captain, John and Jodie and also by Donal and Anne Geraghty, both 5&4 got us on our way.

The other 3 matches were all tight but Peter Whelan and Marie Gordan who were 3 down after 11 holes in Dundalk GC won 5 of the next 6 holes to win their match on the 17th hole and seal the tie.
The two remaining matches were then called in – John Procter and Jane Moloney were 2 up with 2 to play in Knightsbrook while Leonard Flynn and Stella McLoughlin were looking like squaring their match on the 18th hole away in Dundalk.
