Our first Medal of the year takes place this Sunday, April 22nd. Many thanks to our Medal sponsors Cusack Homes.
Competition Medal Rules. (Blue Markers).
1. Only paid-up Men’s club levy members are entitled to win Medal prizes.
2. Any member wishing to make a time-slot change to the Draw Sheet must have prior approval from the Handicap Secretary, Anthony Farrelly.
3. Members are asked to follow golf-shop timesheet instruction on Sunday morning so our timesheet runs smoothly and efficiently in three balls only.
4. The competitions committee wish to draw members attention to the clubs NR and No-show rules which will be strictly enforced this year. Any member who accumulates up to three (NR’s or No-shows) will be sanctioned accordingly).
NR’s effect the competition standard scratch of club competitions and can have a consequential bearing on handicap category reductions.
A No-show discommodes other members who happen to be on their allocated time-slot and is simply poor etiquette.
Out of general courtesy and common sense, members are asked by the Competitions Committee to please ring the golf shop or remove themselves from the BRS in good time, if they are unable to make their allocated tee-time in competitions.
5. And finally, members are asked to please take time, note and formalise themselves with the playing conditions of the Medal on the day.
Competition conditions will be confirmed and posted in the golf shop and the signing-in area before the start of Medal competition, Sunday morning.
