Sponsors’ Day on Friday October 7th was a great success. 12 teams took part in a fun Scramble competition which was won by Sponsor, Tony Perry and his team. Ian Duffy’s team came a close second. Final winning score was 61.4. Thanking all the sponsors at a dinner hosted by the Captains and their committees, Captain Jonathan Cusack said the club was greatly indebted to each sponsor for their ongoing support. “The Sponsors’ Day has become an important event in the club’s golfing calendar and this highlights the importance of the role of sponsors to the members” he said.
