Knightsbrook Golf Club members were saddened to hear of the untimely passing of one of the clubs’ members, Paul Sharp, recently. Paul was a member of the club for many years and enjoyed his golf. He always had a smile on his face and was very philosophical about his golf. Paul dined out on his distinction of “dying” on the third green at Knightsbrook Golf Club a number of years ago where he collapsed one morning while playing golf. Thanks to the quick reaction of his playing mates and Paddy Ennis, in the golf shop that day, Paul was revived by the medics who arrived within minutes and he lived to tell the tale. Unfortunately, Paul passed away on March 8th after a short
illness. Paul will be sadly missed by Knightsbrook Golf Club members, his loving wife Annie, sons Matt and Tom and their partners Laura and Megan, sisters Linda and Claire and all other family and circle of friends in the UK and Ireland. May he rest in peace.
