Sharing the occasion with Leonard Flynn, Club Person of the Year is his wife Bridget.

There was widespread delight at the announcement of the award of Club Person of the Year 2021 to Leonard Flynn. The award was introduced by 2020 Captain Richard Wheeler and is sponsored by Jim Lacey of Prism Ink last Leonard has been a very loyal member of the club over many years and most recently has proven himself to be a hardworking and diligent Competitions and Handicap Secretary. The last year has been a particularly difficult one for Leonard personally and for golf clubs in general where the pandemic created uncertainty. The changes in the handicapping system have also been challenging and Leonard has been very helpful and supportive of members who needed assistance. Leonard succeeded with his committee in completing a very full schedule of competitions. Well done Leonard from all the members.
