The 2019 Winter League will commence on Saturday 26 October and finish on Sunday 1 December. It will be a singles 13 hole competition played over 6 weekends. Alternate 13 holes each weekend subject to course conditions and availability.
(1 to 13 and 1through 6 to 18)
General
• better score over each weekend
• overall winning score will best 5 out of 6 scores.
• if a Saturday or Sunday cancellation occurs due to bad weather, 4 out of 5 scores will count.
(It is hoped that a minimum of 4 scores will count.)
• a single’s competition will run currently each Saturday/Sunday
• entry fee for singles is €5 and this which will operate through the Purse system.
entry fee for the Winter League is €10 to be paid in the Golf Shop prior to the commencement of play on Saturday 26 October.
Members must ensure that their name is included in the entry list and that entry fee has been paid on time. The final list of entrants will be posted on the afternoon of October 26th.
(No late entries will be accepted)

Handicaps
• Standard Scratch for the 13 holes will be 26 and
• all prize winners scoring above 26 will receive an appropriate temporary handicap cut.
(Temporary cuts will remain until qualifying competitions resume in 2020.)
Any further rules etc. will be posted before the commencement of play on Saturday 26 October.
