Pierce Purcell and Newsam Cups

Knightsbrook Golf Club have two teams on duty at the weekend in the Pierce Purcell Shield in Bellewstown on Saturday and Knightsbrook also competes in the Newsam Cup against Greenore Golf Club, Co Louth on Sunday. There will be two home games in the latter competition and three away. All Knightsbrook players will be in action in Bellewstown Golf Club with Killeen Golf Club. Qualifying teams play on Sunday and winners progress to finals later in the year.

Any members who can support the teams at home or away will be welcome. Knightsbrook tee off at 12.30 in Bellewstown and at 2.30 in Knightsbrook and Greenore.
