Moments after Leonard Flynn & Michael Cassidy clinched the winning Newsam Cup point on the 17th green on Sunday, hand shakes and laughing pockets of elation spread out across the course in front of the clubhouse, and in the 18th fairway at Knightsbrook GC.

With our experience in this competition everybody now will want to go all the way and win the clubs first Newsam Cup pendant”.
