Our Irish Mixed Foursomes beat Knockanally GC (4-1) in their 3rd round match on Friday. The match consisted of 5 foursome matches with 3 taking place in Knightsbrook and 2 in Knockanally. Our North Leinster Mixed Team won their first round match against Greenore GC on Saturday. The match consisted of 5 foursome matches with 2 taking place in Knightsbrook and 3 in Greenore. Unfortunately, our Provincial Towns team were beaten in their second round match (5-4) against near neighbours Co. Meath GC on Sunday. The match consisted of nine single matches with 5 taking place in County Meath and 4 in Knightsbrook. Although we collected 3 out of four points at home, we could only muster up one away point, thus dropping short of the required five points to go through.
